Waxing
A hair removal method adopted by both women and men, waxing is an effective temporary way to remove unwanted body and facial hair. Whether it’s hair on the legs, face, underarms, bikini line, back or other areas, waxing is an efficient and usually affordable way to remove it. It is common to experience redness of the skin for a few hours after waxing.
How Does Waxing Work?
Waxing is the process of spreading a hot or cold wax over the desired area then applying a cloth over the top and stripping it off in the opposite direction of the hair growth. Hard wax does not require a cloth as it is possible to rip it from the skin once it dries, while cold wax is generally applied to premade strips. If the waxing is done properly, the entire hair follicle should be pulled out from the root.
